Born and raised in Monroeville, IN, Dr. Oberley attended the University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne, earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Indiana University and ultimately completed her Orthodontic Residency at the University of Colorado. After graduating residency, she successfully achieved board certification, a very prestigious award.

Dr. Oberley, in her words, was born to be an orthodontist, and her life experiences are a testament to that:

“When I was in second grade, I was a shy, awkward little girl from the middle of nowhere with teeth that people used to call the “Flying V.” My orthodontist was the first person that made me feel noticed. He would come out into the waiting room that was full of people and present my chart high in the air on one knee and call “princess.” I remember thinking he really likes me better than everyone here and he doesn’t care who knows that I am his favorite patient. I was the cute little 7-year-old in a sea of terrible teenagers. I remember one day telling my mom I was fine to go back on my own and I remember her face being a little sad but also proud. That was my first sense of a little independence from my parents. His office made me feel comfortable and confident and gave me a smile to match. I want to be that light in my patients’ lives. It wasn’t about the teeth or the smile it was about the fact that I felt like I mattered when I was in that office.” -Dr. Jenna Oberley
